That’s why I stopped following code tutorials unless they were expertly explained. No point in copying or regurgitating code if I couldn’t do it myself or if I couldn’t manage to do it differently. That’s the “test” I use when learning something new. If I can’t find an alternate way to do something, I haven’t learned it.
