I read a great article here on Medium (I can’t find it but I’ll keep looking) about how a doctor created an app to help other doctors (primarily overseas in war-torn areas, if I remember correctly) get immediate, one-on-one help with making challenging diagnoses and treatment decisions. They just open the app, connect via video chat to a doctor with expertise in a particular area, share information about the patient’s case, and get support immediately.

Their goal is to help patients, not to prove that they could make the decision alone, and not to prove their expertise. Their willingness to ask questions directly contributes to improved patient outcomes.

Nobody is an expert at everything.
