I think it depends on how you learn best. Some people like to learn independently so they can work at their own pace, practice without anyone watching them… other people learn best when they work with others, or when they are taught by an expert so that they can ask questions as often as possible. You have to ask yourself how you learn best and do what feels right! The good thing is that many online courses are free, so you have nothing to lose if you try.
