I think this is everyone’s dream! Thank you for the thoughtful response. I, too, thought I wasn’t math inclined. I nearly failed trigonometry but aced geometric proofs and did them for fun. Ended up teaching trigonometry to English language learners a few years later.
Geometric proofs are all about logic, and I enjoyed that I could think through a situation and find a way to support or refute it. Not the same with other types of math.
