Or “What Happened When I Cancelled My Home Internet — And A Year Later, Realized It Was Difficult So I Used My Dad’s Login Instead”.

You’re right though — definitely not sustainable if you work from home or use the internet to make money, like I do. However… if I hadn’t started working from home… I think I could have gone quite awhile without discovering the hotspot, since I didn’t even have a computer. I borrowed a family member’s ancient laptop to try to get some work done a few times and eventually gave up.

The biggest takeaway for me is that I don’t need to waste time online. I no longer browse incessantly before bed. I no longer wake up and turn on a laptop before I even roll out of bed. This exercise, at the very least, changed my habits.
