Thanks for your comment! I don’t think I could ever stop using the Internet. There are too many things (like bill pay) that take forever to do without it. That said, I drastically reduced my use by cutting out WiFi and not owning a computer for awhile. The iPhone (with its super slow data plan) was for the basics. Find an address. Pay the rent.

When I write, sometimes I do 10–12 articles in a day and let publications decide when to post them. Sometimes I spend a weekend working and then don’t really touch the computer during the next two weeks. It varies now that I work from home (I wasn’t working from home at the time of this experience). But I’m just really not a fan of endlessly browsing. I know what I need to accomplish online, and I try very hard not to do anything extra.
